M.Ryskulbekov KEU is the only educational institution in our country that has evolved from the FTST (Frunze technical school of Soviet trade) to the University (FTST since 1953, BTC since 1991, from 1991 to 1997 - BCC, from 1997 to 1999-BHCC, from 1999 to 2003-BSIEC, from 2003 to 2007-BSUEE, from 2007 to the present M.Ryskulbekov KEU).

More than 60 years have passed since the Foundation of the M.Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz Economic University. During this time, our University has become a major authoritative educational center, which is proud of its glorious traditions and history.

At the same time, our University is not only an educational complex, but also a scientific institution. The University pays considerable attention to the development of fundamental and applied research, diversification of relations with leading research structures, both in our country and in other countries, and the introduction of scientific achievements into practice.
